How to use it
What it is
- BigBlueButton analytics inside Moodle, saved automatically when a session ends.
- Attendance for every session, with join and leave times.
- Files shared in the session and poll results.
- Reports per activity and a site-wide report for administrators.
- Excel export with Summary, Attendees, Files and Polls sheets.
- Works with any BigBlueButton server. Requires Moodle 4.1 or later with the BigBlueButton activity.
How it works
- MP Insights has two components, installed in order: first the BigBlueButton connector, then the report manager.
- The administrator turns it on once, then enables it in each BigBlueButton activity before the session starts.
- When the session ends, BigBlueButton sends the analytics to your Moodle, secured with a signed token.
- The components are delivered after licensing, together with the installation guide.
Privacy
MP Insights stores attendee data (names and activity) in your Moodle database. Administrators should set a retention period and delete old reports regularly.
Coming: Funding compliance reports (e.g. FUNDAE).
